CZE: Ing. Jan Zahradil (* 20. března 1963 Praha) je český politik, poslanec Evropského parlamentu, člen a bývalý 1. místopředseda Občanské demokratické strany.
 
Jan Zahradil vystudoval Vysokou školu chemicko-technologickou v Praze. V roce 2001 byl zvolen místopředsedou ODS, v letech 2002 až 2004 byl jejím prvním místopředsedou. Jeho kandidatura na předsedu strany v roce 2002 byla neúspěšná.
 
Ve volbách v roce 2004 byl jako lídr kandidátky ODS zvolen poslancem Evropského parlamentu, kde stál v čele klubu strany a působil ve Výboru pro rozvoj, v Dočasném výboru pro politické výzvy a rozpočtové prostředky rozšířené Unie v letech 2007–2013 a jako náhradník ve Výboru pro občanské svobody, spravedlnost a vnitřní věci. - Haben Sie in dieser Abstimmung für Jan Zahradil gestimmt? - Dále byl členem Delegace pro vztahy se zeměmi Mašreku a náhradníkem ve Společném parlamentním výboru EU-Turecko.
V roce 2009 byl opět jako lídr kandidátky ODS zvolen poslancem Evropského parlamentu, kde byl zařazen do Výboru pro mezinárodní obchod.
 
Politické názory
Zahradil je znám odmítavými názory na prohlubování politické integrace států Evropské unie a spolu s Jaroslavem Zvěřinou byl nejznámějším členem ODS, který podporoval registrované partnerství homosexuálů. Je spolu s se Zvěřinou znám také tím, jak nehovoří na plénu v Evropském parlamentu. ENG: Jan Zahradil (born 30 March 1963) is a Czech politician and Member of the European Parliament with the Civic Democratic Party, Member of the European Conservatives and Reformists and sits on the European Parliament's Committee on Development.
He is a substitute for the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, substitute for the Delegation to the European Union-Turkey Joint Parliamentary Committee. Viewed as being an ideological protege of current Czech President Václav Klaus, Jan Zahradil is a strong eurosceptic and sceptic on the issue of climate change. He actively promoted The Great Global Warming Swindle and warns against expensive actions that would bring no results. He has been reported as leading negotiations to form a new eurosceptic group in the European Parliament with the UK Conservative Party.
